A Graduate Architect is a recent graduate from an architecture programme who is beginning their professional journey in the field of architecture. Tasks and Duties

How to become a Graduate Architect?
- Complete a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture : Obtain a recognised degree in architecture from a New Zealand university or an equivalent international qualification.
- Gain Practical Experience : Complete an internship or work placement in an architectural firm during or after your studies to gain hands-on experience.
- Pursue a Master's Degree (if required) : Depending on your undergraduate qualification, you may need to complete a Master of Architecture (MArch) to meet professional requirements.
- Register with the New Zealand Registered Architects Board (NZRAB) : After completing your qualifications and gaining sufficient work experience, register to become a licensed architect.

What does the first 6 months look like as a Graduate Architect?
