He kōrero mō mātou | Foundation Graduate Programme
The Foundation Graduate Programme is an exciting new three-year rotational programme run in partnership between Watercare, Fulton Hogan, and Jacobs.
The name Foundation reflects the Māori concept of Whakamata, the fist woven line that provides the foundation in weaving a cloak – representing the three organisations coming together to help shape the next generation of water industry leaders.
Together, we share a vision of delivering world-class water projects, protecting our environment, and ensuring a sustainable water future for New Zealand. This is a rare opportunity to experience the full spectrum of the water industry, working across client, contractor, and consultant organisations, all within one programme.
He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role

- Work alongside respected leaders and mentors with deep industry knowledge
- Build both technical, operational, and project management capability
- Rotate through multiple teams, giving you a broad and well-rounded skillset
