Duration: 18 November 2025 – 13 February 2026 (includes a 10-day Christmas shutdown)

Are you studying Computer Science or a related degree and keen to gain real-world IT experience? Unison has an exciting summer internship opportunity for a motivated, tech-savvy student to join our team, while gaining valuable work experience towards your degree.

About the Role

You’ll work alongside our IT team to support our technology environment and help keep things running smoothly. This may include:

• Providing first-line technical support to our staff
• Assisting with IT service management processes (e.g., ITIL)
• Helping maintain and troubleshoot network and system issues
• Supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
• Gaining exposure to service desk tools and practices

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone who:

• Is currently studying Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related degree, ideally having completed at least your second year of study
• Has a genuine interest in technology and helping people
• Communicates clearly and effectively (written and verbal)
• Has a basic understanding of Windows, Microsoft 365, and common IT support tools
• Bonus points if you’ve had exposure to service desk environments or customer service roles

Important Details

• You must be available for the full internship period: Tuesday 18 November 2025 to Friday 13 February 2026
• You must be able to relocate to Hawke’s Bay for the duration
