Through the Career Compass Programme, you’ll:
- Explore our different service lines (Tax, Assurance, Consulting and EY‑Parthenon) and understand where your interests and skills could fit.
- Learn how we support clients and solve real business challenges.
- Build practical skills and insights that will help you approach future applications with confidence.
Participants may be eligible for exclusive early access to EY Intern Programme applications before they open to all students.

- Interactive sessions introducing our culture, teams and ways of working.
- A hands-on case study to experience how we approach real client challenges.
- An application workshop with real-time interview feedback.
- Opportunities to connect and network with EY graduates and professionals.

Programme Dates
The Career Compass Programmes will be delivered across EY offices in Aotearoa New Zealand in late September 2026. You will be able to select your preferred location during the application process.
Auckland – 22–23 September 2026 | 9:00am – 4:00pm NZST
Christchurch – 29 September 2026 | 9:00am – 4:00pm NZDT
Wellington – 29 September 2026 | 9:00am – 4:00pm NZDT
Eligibility
This programme requires you to be:
- On track to complete your degree in 2028
- Hold New Zealand or Australian citizenship or be a New Zealand or Australian permanent resident. We also accept applications from those who hold a New Zealand student visa (eligible for 3-year post study work visa upon conclusion of their studies).
We welcome applicants from a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to: Accounting, Commerce, Law, Engineering, Science, Information Technology / Information Systems, Actuarial Studies, Economics, Psychology and Human Resources.
