Te tūranga | The role  

During the internship, you'll be paired with a buddy who will guide you throughout your journey. You'll also receive expert insight and support from our Future Me team. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of professionals, from Grads to General Managers, Business Analysts to the CTO. The sky's the limit when it comes to the talent and experience you'll be exposed to!

Your day to day will look like the following: 

• Gain exposure to a variety of real-world issues whilst immersing yourself in regulation within the banking industry.

• Foster key relationships with external stakeholders including regulators, government officials, Group Regulatory Affairs and Advocacy and the New Zealand Bankers Association.

• Support ASB by monitoring, communicating, advocating and tracking emerging changes.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of ASB's strategy, constantly aligning this with our purpose.

• An almost completed degree (maximum of 2 years left of study) 

• A positive approach and attitude filled with curiosity and a true desire to learn and grow

• Empathy to understand the needs of each other, ASB customers and the wider community
