Graduate Wine Ambassador Programme

 

Pernod Ricard Winemakers Graduate Wine Ambassador Program is an unique lifetime experience to kick off a long career in the wine industry all over the world.

Further 5 months in house training, you will gain globally recognised industry qualifications, vintage experience, sales & marketing knowledge, communication & presentation skills and hand on experience by leading projects.

After the training, you will begin a placement at Pernod Ricard Winemakers’ key established or emerging international markets to act as a Wine Ambassador for our iconic brands for up to 2 years.

This experience will enable you to embrace our wine culture, develop a broad range of skills, gain valuable international experience and break new frontier. 

The Role of Wine Ambassador 

 

The role will primarily operate in the capacity as “Wine Educator” for Pernod Ricard in a dedicated market (such as Canada, Dubai, Thailand), responsible for representing strategic brands from Pernod Ricard wine portofolio.     

 Each market has its own challenge but you can expect the following to be on your “to do” list:

  • Instil a “wine culture” within Pernod Ricard network through wine education
  • Conducting tasting sessions with targeted consumer groups and influencing the big players in the market from the main distributors to sommelier and loyal brand advocates
  • Supporting your local brand team in all their market activations
  • Immersing yourself into the culture and be our ear to the ground
  • Be a social media mogul, blogging and posting updated about your progress
  • Propose, present and initiate new marketing activities

What Are We Looking For 

 

If you are passionate by wine and love sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm with the world, the Wine Ambassador role might be your dream job.

You must be a university graduate with a fully driver’s license and have the right to live and work in Australia and/or New Zealand to apply.

Most importantly, a part having a genuine interest for wine, you must have a strong sense of ethics, be keen to learn from our team of experts and help us continue to lead innovation within our industry.
