The Youth Voice

The Coffee

Being part of the Junior Dev Board (JDB) is really exciting. I get support from our CEO and the senior management in R&D to work on initiatives that I think are worth doing. It is a great opportunity for a young engineer to feel empowered and learn about the process of making business decisions in large companies.

Having a coffee kickstarts my morning - I catch up with friends from other teams at the coffee machine, and have some time to plan what I want to achieve that day. I love finding out what interesting problems other teams are solving, and learning about the cool products that Orion Health is developing.

The Learning Opportunity

The Difference

There is never a shortage of things to learn at Orion, and there are plenty of travel opportunities. I recently went to Manila for on-site support. It was great to be able to go overseas and meet both the client and team members in person.

At Orion Health I feel like I have the opportunity to make a difference everyday. Its a cool feeling knowing that you are helping to spread the word and aid the company to help people. I don't directly save lives like some of our employees do with our software, but I get to be a part of it and that's a rewarding experience. I love working with such intelligent, trustworthy Orion Health staff from all over the world in an interesting and ever-changing environment!

We code for a purpose

Orion Health is a design lead, data-driven software company where students can freely explore technology that makes a REAL difference to peoples lives - Developing Thinking Software for Life.

Watch our video below to learn more about what it's like to work with us!

So, what makes us different?

We asked six of our Graduates to tell us about their work experiences. And we quickly discovered that each of them had plenty to say about their awesome time so far at this great Global technology company. So what really makes Orion Health different from other workplaces around the world? Check out what our Grads said!

The Fun Social Stuff

The Diversity

Whether it's dodging a nerf bullet on my way to the coffee machine or attending the evening fitness classes, Orion Health really keeps me on my toes. In my two years working here I've gotten fit (after 23 years of inactivity), joined a bunch of clubs, and made some awesome friends.

I really enjoy the experience of working and learning from diverse cultures at Orion Health.
This has exposed me to different view points and helped to develop my own. Being a part of such a diverse culture is absolutely awesome!

The International Career

The Tech

I’m really enjoying working at Orion Health. Everyday, I get to work with very talented people who look out for me, and are really approachable. As a new graduate fresh out of university, it can be pretty daunting when starting your career. Orion Health has supported me from day one, and have given me the reassurance that they are genuinely invested in my personal learning and development. There’s a diverse range of opportunities on offer here, and I’m excited by what the future holds.

I’m proud to say that I’m a software engineer working at Orion Health. Pushing features towards our goal of creating the number one precision medicine platform empowers me to continuously develop and evolve myself as a young developer. Creatively being able to solve problems and having really intense technical discussion have been some of my favourite moments working here. I personally believe that our technology platform truly creates positive medical outcomes for all patients.
