Our 2017 Graduates

Ryan Turton (Auckland)

I feel like a sponge; I’m still learning new things every day.

I’ve had the privilege of working on a broad range of projects within the first month. This includes doing an initial system set-up for a company, attending client workshops (both in and out of office), and attending training sessions with clients.

I really enjoyed induction week for multiple reasons. Firstly, it was chance to meet all the other graduates from both Australia and New Zealand. It was nice turning up on the same day, knowing that we were all in the same boat, and about to start the same journey. Secondly, induction week offered myself (and I’m sure others too) a huge amount of support. It can be quite daunting entering a new environment, so it was helpful having a week where we learnt about the business and our roles as Graduate Consultants.

Elena Shuvaeva (Auckland)

Fusion5 is a fantastic company with warm atmosphere and friendly people around working with you.

I have been working hard, and learning lots. I’ve been given many opportunities to upgrade my skills and learn new technologies.

I’m happy to be part of the Fusion5 family.

Callum Christoffersen (Auckland)

Everything has been going really well, and I’ve learnt so much. I just did my first couple billable hours on a project, and it was cool knowing that I’ve been of direct value to Fusion5 already. From being a part of the skits, beer o’clock, to the Fusion5 Kick-Off event, the culture of the company has stood out as being a great place to work.

The induction week was a great first experience with Fusion5. You are quickly introduced to a broad range of new skills, and learn from some of the best in the industry. Every day you are meeting someone new who is an expert in their field with knowledge to share with you. With the office being in the heart of Auckland, it has been only natural for all the grads to go bond over a drink and some food knowing that we have chosen a great company to kick-off our careers with.

Akshay Kapila (Melbourne)

I am learning so many things and having lots of training, and I will shortly be starting work on a customer project. It’s going really well, and I am enjoying the work.

Ciaran Candy (Wellington)

I’ve really enjoyed the way I have been slowly eased into work with the help of a very supportive team. Through a lot of self-guided training and the help of the knowledgeable people around me, I feel like I’m learning a tonevery day. It’s great to develop my skills in this kind of environment.

Despite being new, I feel like my input on projects is valued and I love the freedom and agency afforded to me working at Fusion5.

Flying up to Auckland for a weeklong induction with both the New Zealand and Australian graduates was a great experience that really got me excited to start working. The week was full of meeting new people, learning and preparing to enter our new roles at the company. Our group of graduates got along so well that the only thing disappointing about it was that we all had to go back to our respective offices at week’s end.

Jason D’Souza (Melbourne)

The induction week was fun and knowledgeable. It helped me to understand not only CRM, the team that I am a part of; but also have an overview of all the other practices. To ask the General Manager of a company to clear her schedule and spend a week with the grads is commendable; we were privileged to have Becky share her own experiences to make the induction week so interesting.

I had my initial training on CRM Pivotal in my first 2 weeks, after which it was learn-as- you-go. The best part about Fusion5 is that you can ask anyone questions and they are all willing to help. No question is considered stupid. I’m now a part of a few projects with varied roles and responsibilities. I have my seniors who guide me till I am comfortable.

Overall, I enjoy working at Fusion5 because it’s the people around you that help make work interesting.

Emma Hastings (Sydney)

Since starting at Fusion5 in the Grad program in Sydney I’ve had the amazing opportunity to work with my team, and build my skills and knowledge every day. I have also had the opportunity to meet numerous customers and assist on projects to reach their desired outcomes.

Every day is different - filled with different challenges and learning opportunities. I’ve been able to work with my team on projects, including testing, documentation and demoing. My team has also helped me to learn the ropes, expand my knowledge and skills, while also supporting and encouraging me to work outside of my comfort zones.

For my first week at Fusion 5, I had the opportunity to fly over to Auckland and meet the amazing Auckland team and the other Australian and New Zealand Graduates. This week was filled with lots of knowledge about Fusion5 and the roles/journeys we are beginning, along with fun activities/games, e.g. amazing race around the office, which introduced us to so many Fusion5 team members both in and out of the teams we are working in. I thoroughly enjoyed the induction week at Fusion5 with the other graduates, it was a friendly and welcoming experience that won’t be forgotten. The induction week was the perfect introduction to an amazing company filled with welcoming, supportive and kind people.

I’m looking forward to my future at Fusion5 and expanding my knowledge and skills to become a valuable member of my team. Fusion5 is an amazing company filled with supportive and welcoming people.
